In Italy the production and the marketing of cosmetic products are regulated by the law n. 713/86 of the 11th of October 1986.
The law has adopted the Community Directive 76/768/CEE, which was issued with the intention to harmonize the regulation relative to the production and the marketing of cosmetics at a European level. The law n. 713/86 that regulates aspects regarding the composition of cosmetic products and their presentation (for presentation it is intended the labelling, the packaging and any other form of external representation of the product) and to meet all the necessary requirements to manufacture, market and import cosmetic products.
In this sector we provide the following services:
- Preliminary evaluation of PILs and labels to verify if they conform to the current Italian laws
- Prepare and sign the technical dossier
- Evaluate, organise and, if necessary, integrate the documentation provided by the client for local requirements.
- Submission of the documentation to the Ministry of Health and follow up the ministerial proceedings
- Assistance and advice on all importation procedures
- Organise graphic layout of labels through our graphics department
